Invisalign Aligners

Treatment with aligners combines the comprehensive plan of the orthodontist with printing technology and, in Dr. Wong’s case, in-house modifications, to create a series of clear, nearly invisible aligners that, when worn consistently, gradually move your teeth, or the teeth of your child, into the desired, stable position. Intraoral photographic scans, rather than traditional dental impressions, are used to create a highly accurate computerized model of your dentition that is used by Dr. Wong, along with specialized orthodontic imaging and his examination findings, to determine the correct path of movement and ultimate tooth position best suited for the face and smile. Novel techniques are employed by Dr. Wong to facilitate tooth movements that would otherwise require braces. Read More

Precision Braces

Precision braces are akin to traditional braces with archwires except that the brackets attached to the teeth are custom-made for each patient’s dentition, resulting in greater precision than even the finest traditional brackets. This shortens treatment time by giving Dr. Wong the ability to execute his treatment plan without the inefficiencies of imprecise wire sockets and bracket placement.  Patients also have the option of choosing traditional metal, clear ceramic, or monocrystalline brackets.  Tooth color and clear brackets greatly lessen the attention drawn to the appliance and are especially appropriate for teens and adults. Interceptive Treatment

Interceptive treatment is intended to correct skeletal or soft tissue imbalances in growing children. Typically utilized for the younger child, the goal of interceptive treatment is the creation of greater long-term balance in facial relationships and improvement in potential alignment of the permanent dentition. Surgical Orthodontics

Surgical orthodontic cases involve the repositioning of the upper and/or lower jaws (maxilla and mandible) by an oral surgeon working in collaboration with the orthodontist. During treatment planning, the orthodontist, along with the oral surgeon and patient, determines the ultimate positions of the jaws and teeth that will result in correct dental occlusion, an attractive smile, and a balanced facial aesthetic.
